Minimum Required Score: You must score at least 65 points out of 120 overall to be eligible to apply. Use the Point System Calculator on the Malaysia Immigration Department website to calculate your points.

What PR Does Not Include
Malaysia Permanent Residence does not grant voting rights or allow involvement in political and governmental issues. However, it provides comprehensive benefits for living, working, and thriving in Malaysia.
Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H)
Another type of Malaysia residence permit offering residence and free travel for up to ten years
For applicants under 50:
- • Access to at least $135,000 liquid assets, OR
- • At least $10,000 per month from non-Malaysian source
For applicants over 50:
- • Access to at least $95,000 liquid assets, OR
- • At least $3,000 per month from pension/other income
Additional Requirements
Open a Malaysian bank account and deposit at least $40,000
After one year, you can withdraw $13,000 for use in Malaysia
Must keep $27,000 in the account at all times
