VOA Eligibility Requirements

You must meet ALL of the following conditions to qualify for Malaysia Visa on Arrival

Nationality Requirement

You must be a citizen of:

People's Republic of China (PRC)
India

Note: Citizens of other countries are not eligible for VOA

Travel Route Requirement

You must be arriving from one of these countries:

Singapore
Thailand
Indonesia
Brunei

Important: You must have a valid visa from the country you're arriving from

Additional Requirements

Proof of Funds

You must show at least USD 500 in cash or equivalent in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR)

Confirmed Return Ticket

You must have a confirmed return or onward flight ticket from Malaysia

Critical Warning

Staying beyond the 15-day period is a serious violation. Enforcement action based on the Immigration Act and Regulations will be taken against those who overstay.

The VOA cannot be extended. If you need to stay longer, you must leave Malaysia and apply for a different visa type.

Higher Visa Fee
